The MET Gala 2021 – Wedding edition

Yesterday was the MET Gala, and some of our favorite celebrities wore dresses that can translate into wedding gowns. So today, we will be showcasing how to get the MET Gala to look on your wedding day! 

Billie Eilish

The artist emulated Marilyn Monroe – an iconic female American actress- Billie wore a tulle nude dress by Oscar de la Renta and shoes from Jimmy Choo.

A Beautiful princess ball gown in organza. This wedding dress is created with a Dior style petticoat to create an amazing volume in the skirt. This same ascetic is places with draping in the bodice. The dress is finished with modern lace placement with pearls.

Kaia wore a look by Oscar de la Renta inspired by a Halston dress that Bianca Jagger wore on the 1981 MET Gala.

Illusion A-line, organza over layer with ruffles and satin fit and flare skirt underneath. Fully beaded bodice and off the shoulder flowy sleeves.

Kendall Jenner

Givenchy signed the transparent jewelry dress that the model wore.

This mermaid wedding dress detailed with hand beaded bodice and tulle ruching sleeves and skirt is stunning. Sweetheart neckline and off the shoulders sleeves with stunning pearls scattered thought the dress.

Gigi Hadid

Gigi Hadid opted for an ultra-sophisticated withe dress, with simple lines, designed by Prada. 

GWM2038 – Iris

Beautiful fit and flare gown in silk with ruching detail around the waist. This dress has a stunning low back. Lace overskirt optional.

Lupita Nyong’o

The actress wore a denim dress by Versace Jeans Couture and diamonds by De Beers. 

GWM2035 – Alberta

A fit and flare gown with brocade pipping details though the process seams. This wedding dress has the option of adding a cape in brocade lace or overskirt.

Venus Williams

The tennis player wore a red dress with a sweetheart neckline by Prabal Gurung. 

GWM2030 – Madelaine

Asymmetric neckline, with sweetheart bodice underneath. Fully hand-beaded bodice on top of lace. The overlay with one long sleeves provides the most wearing wedding dress for the fashionista bride to be. Finally, the sheath skirt give simplicity to an otherwise very intricate wedding dress.
